I prefer to work in watercolour as I love its fluidity although sometimes the subject matter is better portrayed in acrylic or pastel.

I also like to add collage / texture pertinent to the subject I'm painting. This can be anything from fabric, newspaper, foliage in fact anything as long as it will stick to the board and helps to capture the spirit of the subject, the possibilities are endless.

I like to work loosely and quickly once my plan is in place. This can be risky but adds to the fun.
